Pahari Mushaira
Join us for our unmissable Pahari Poetry Mushaira held by local artist Nabeela Ahmed. After last year’s sell-out event, we are back with an even bigger line-up of poetry, and a taste of Pahari fiction held in the wonderful space of Manningham Library.
Nabeela Ahmed is a writer, multilingual poet, spoken word artist and nature photographer. She writes and shares her work in English, Urdu and Pahari. She has facilitated poetry workshops for the National Literacy Trust, Authors Abroad, libraries, museums, schools and the Bronte society. She has had poems published in England, America, Pakistan and India. Her book, Despite our Differences was published in 2018.
There will be a break in the middle for you to mingle and have some refreshments.
